Tuesday 3/28, 7:00-8:30
ArtSpace @ Staten Island Arts
23 Navy Pier Court, Staten Island
Come celebrate the launch of the Future Culture Initial Recommendations with us!
These recommendations are a blueprint of short- and long-term strategies to ensure that the vibrant cultural communities of the North Shore have a meaningful role in shaping the character of our developing waterfront. The recommendations are a living, evolving document open to further review by the community. After countless stakeholder meetings, a cultural organization survey, a six- session community working group, and more, the Future Culture project team has developed initial, high-level, recommendations for the North Shore. Our next step is to select a handful of particularly important recommendations to develop in much greater detail—and we need your help in guiding us.
Join us on March 28 to see the initial recommendations and provide feedback on what you’d like to see added, removed, altered, or emphasized. Following a short presentation, attendees will be invited to visit with the Fellows at themed stations to ask questions and provide direct comments on what is and isn’t working in the recommendations.
We hope you’ll join us to help shape the future culture of this place!
