ABOUT GRANTSLAB
GrantsLab lives under our recently-launched program, Our Space and works in tandem with our yearly grant cycle. This program creates opportunities where artists can freely experiment with their project ideas, meet other local artists, and learn the practical concepts and process behind grant writing from the SIA team and other facilitators.
GrantsLab is open to returning artists or first-time artists thinking about applying for a Staten Island Arts grant for the first time. These sessions cover topics geared primarily for prospective 2024 grantees but remain open to the public.
GrantsLab is supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and the New York State Legislature.
