Key Logistics for Grantees
What are my responsibilities as a Staten Island Arts Grantee?
Grant recipients must notify Staten Island Arts of any contact name, address or telephone changes. Grant recipients must also credit Staten Island Arts and the funding sponsor of the grant on all printed materials related to the funded project. Grantees must also provide Staten Island Arts with a timeline for their program’s implementation since funded programs are subject to an independent auditor’s review to ensure that the funded project fulfills the spirit and intent of the grant.
Grantees are also required to submit a final report no later than 30 days after the completion of the project. Failure to submit a final report will jeopardize future funding requests.
Where can I find the final report? When is it due?
The Final Report can be found online where you applied for the grant. You can log in to the grants portal and see the Final Report form attached to your online profile. You will need to respond to a few narrative questions and you will have to report back on how the grant award was spent. The Final Report is due 30 days after you finish the project, or by December 31st the year you are awarded.
Will Staten Island Arts help me publicize my events?
Staten Island Arts has several resources available to help spread word about your events and projects. Grantees should prioritize adding their event information to CultureCalendar, and read up on how to request additonal marketing support through our social media and email channels.
What is the proper credit line for my project when I do publicity?
Credit Line
A credit line is required on all publicity related to your grant project. Please see the following grants to find your credit line:
- DCLA Premier: This <> is made possible by a DCLA Premier Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
- DCLA Art Fund: This <> is made possible by a DCLA Art Fund Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

Do you have logos I can use for funding credit on my grant materials?
Using Staten Island Arts’ logo is not a necessary requirement.
Grantees wishing to include our logo on promotional materials can find a graphics suite here.
The DCLA and NYSCA would prefer grantees use the credit language found above.
