Future Culture: Connecting Staten Island’s Waterfront (2014)
Partners: Staten Island Arts; Design Trust for Public Space; Cornell University
This study synthesizes information from the Art Hill Plan (2010), NYC Open Data, US Census, Center for Urban Future, American Community Survey 5-year Estimates (2008-2012), Vision Zero, NYC Map Pluto, and the four major North Shore Development projects (NY Wheel, BFC Partners’ Outlet Mall, Lighthouse Point, and Ironstate’s URL). This study expands the geographical area to include parts of Tompkinsville and Stapleton, in addition to the major development projects planned for the North Shore.

Art Hill: St. George Sustainable Cultural District Plan (2010)

The St. George Sustainable Cultural District Plan is based on a vision articulated by Staten Island’s cultural stakeholders, the artists and other creative producers and performers that have built a community on the North Shore of Staten Island.
